Life | Wedding Invites, Save the Dates, + more

I haven’t made a post about this – but I’m engaged!! Whattttt?! I’m pretty proactive and like making lists because I tend to be forgetful so I went ahead and started shopping around online for things like flowers, invites, etc. If you remember, I worked with Basic Invite for our holiday invites and had a great experience.

Basic Invite’s website is super user-friendly, they have awesome color selections (apparently over 180 of them), foil selections, paper types, etc. Between online wedding invitations, engagement party invitations, bridal shower, etc. there are so many to choose from. They’re super customizable so it was hard to narrow it down to my top 5 wedding invites butttt they do offer free wedding websites to match your card theme. They’re mobile friendly and super easy to use. You can instantly upload all of your wedding details, along with images, and a convenient map with directions for your guests. Once I selected the layouts I liked, I personalized them with my own photos, switched the colors around, and selected my envelope color (they have like 40 different colors of envelopes!) and ordered a sample of each.

Okay, so I thought this feature was super cool especially for all of the busy people out there like myself. They do this thing called address capturing where you can share a link on your social or through your social to request family and friends addresses. The addresses are saved in your account and you can select which ones you want the card to go to. Plus, they don’t charge to have the addresses printed on the envelopes for you.

And to make it even easier, there are seal and send invites which I love because of the functionality. It’s basically a long invitation with tearable RSVP cards, etc. All you have to do is share a link, collect guest addresses, and upload them onto your design. Once you receive your order all you have to do is add postage, fold your invites, and secure them with a sticker! Simple and easy.

Anyway, I know this is a long post but was super impressed at how intuitive and easy the process was and highly recommend them for any of your cards, invites, business cards, etc. There’s also a promo code for 15% off – 15FF51.

I hope this was helpful! Also, if you made it this far then you get to know a secret – we’ve picked our date 🙂 …8.28.21. Happy Planning!
